Rachael Land, Managing Director
Bringing you the experts in leadership and communication - please
meet the team:
Rachael Land
Born in Sydney Australia, Rachael’s career began in education
and counselling for young people with drug & alcohol issues. Her
passion for training all started when she was asked to design and
implement a highly successful training program for teachers, police,
nurses and others working with these youth. Described by
friends and colleagues as ‘confident and inspirational’;
running a training and coaching business is her natural calling.
One of her dreams from early childhood was to travel the world. An
advocate for living life to the full and inspiring others to do
the same, Rachael decided to take time out and feed her growing
hunger for travel and adventure. Leaving her homeland over
a decade ago, she worked and travelled across the world, before
settling in London with her husband in 2002.
During her career Rachael has also worked in business development
and management in the hospitality and events industry. Highlights
include co-owner and PR manager for a hotel in Turkey; interior
manager on private yachts; and business development manager for
a prestigious event venue in London.
Once in London, she came across NLP and hypnotherapy, and undertook
all the qualifications to become a Master Practitioner & Trainer;
realising her dream to set up her own business and continue her
passion to teach and assist others to reach their true potential.
Rachael will set up another office in her home city of Sydney
in 2008, splitting her time between them to satisfy the constant
desire for travel and adventure with her business acumen and ‘live-life-to-the-full’ philosophy.

the world, Alex Boyd specialises on driving projects forward whilst
under pressure. Bringing topical case studies that have grabbed
the world’s attention, from designing the security at Saddam

process in Aceh, Alex provides an illustrative view on how to tackle
issues.
Putting his extensive management, planning and presentation skills
from the British Army into the civilian world, Alex now consults,
trains and speaks in the areas of risk and development. During
his commission with the British Army Light Infantry, he served
on operations, trained recruits and led a number of expeditions. Leaving
to become a yacht captain in the West Indies, Alex skippered an
assortment of ocean going craft. After leading an expedition to
build the largest charity centre in the Belizean rainforest, Alex
was approached to work on a number of governmental and NGO projects
across the globe.
Acting as the senior advisor on the world’s first tri-nation
peacekeeping mission, Alex was able to ensure that all monitors

the host nation’s drive towards martial law. After
leaving to assist in developing a Middle Eastern country’s
counter terrorist policy, he brought initiatives that still play
a part in their doctrine to this day.
Alex now lives in London where he has been advising clients on
the operational risk issues pursuant to the Basel II directive

inspiring and engaging speaker, he now enjoys training others on
presentation skills, unique sales and negotiation skills and management
issues.
In his spare time, Alex is a keen but ineffective sportsman, having
