Effective Meetings

In a recent survey of over 2000 managers across the UK, 82% felt they were wasting time in at least half of the meetings they attended.  Considering the average manager or executive will attend between two and three meetings a day, this can quickly add up to a costly and inefficient use of time.

The promises of new technology have done little to improve these statistics, as people now find themselves in telephone conference calls, video conferencing and webinars that follow the example of the more traditional face-to-face meetings - with more time being wasted in increasingly hi-tech ways.

By learning a set of key skills, anyone organising or attending a meeting can easily ensure that the meeting will be effective and lead to an increase in a range of areas including efficiency, teamwork, customer service and the bottom line.

Workshop Aim:

This one day course gives participants the skills and mindset necessary to ensure that meetings are an effective and efficient use of time for all participants in the meeting.  The course will enable participants to learn new ways to organise, plan and run effective meetings. 

‘Effective Meetings” is a dynamic mix of classroom teaching and practical application by experienced trainers.  Run in small groups, delegates receive personal feedback and coaching, ensuring they fully understand the principles and feel confident in their ability to apply them.

  • Why the room set-up and layout are important

Tailored programmes and coaching
